Live Baby Brine Shrimp

Newly hatched brine shrimp (nauplii) are a highly effective live food for both marine fish and corals. Their small size, bright coloration, and constant motion make them especially appealing to species that are reluctant to accept prepared diets.

Baby brine shrimp are particularly useful for finicky feeders such as gobies, mandarins, blennies, and butterflyfish. The natural swimming behavior of the nauplii stimulates a strong feeding response, encouraging shy or newly introduced fish to eat more consistently.

They are also a dependable staple for many large-polyp stony (LPS) corals, including sun corals like Tubastrea. The manageable size of baby brine shrimp allows coral polyps to easily capture and ingest them during target feeding sessions.
